INTERNATIONAL TEAM

Joseph W. Handley, Jr., Ph.D. (CEO)

Dr. Joe Handley was born and raised in Southern California. He attended Azusa Pacific University where he earned a B.A. in psychology and an M.A. in Theology. Joe served nine years at Azusa Pacific University where he was the founding director of their Office of World Missions and leader of one of the first multi-national high school mission congresses in Mexico City in 1996. The Lord then called him to Rolling Hills Covenant Church in 1998 where Joe served as the Global Outreach Pastor and later the Associate Pastor for Outreach Ministries. In July of 2008, Joe answered the call of God to become the president of A2, a leader development movement that began in 1967.

Joe strives to develop leaders for missional movements across Asia. His passion is to come alongside local leaders to encourage and empower them in their calling to reach the world for Christ.

R. Elliott Snuggs (Executive Director)

Elliott Snuggs has been with A2 since 1983 when he served in Japan as short-term missionaries and currently serves as Executive VP / COO for A2.business. His primary responsibility is to assist the president in the area of organizational management. His primary focus is on strategic planning, launching new initiatives, and facilitating key leadership teams. He has invested significant time and expertise in helping launch A2.business, and building it to be a growing leader development program for the marketplace in several countries.

Elliott, who is originally from Texas, has an M.Div. from Fuller Theological Seminary in Pasadena, California and a Masters of Management Arts from the Peter Drucker School of Management at Claremont Graduate University in Claremont, California.

Francis K. Tsui, D.Min (Advisor, Faculty, Board Member)

Dr. Francis Tsui has extensive experiences in financial advisory services, family office and wealth management, as well as direct investment and business development consultancy. Since 2000, Mr. Tsui has founded and served as the President and Director of DMC Investment Co. Ltd., a private investment company in Hong Kong. His also has wide experiences as INED with listed companies listed on the American Stock Exchange and the Hong Kong Exchange for over a decade.  Mr. Tsui is also one of the Founding Members of the Hong Kong Professionals and Senior Executive Association.

Francis was born and raised in Hong Kong. He holds multiple higher degrees from the Hong Kong University, University of Hawaii and Luther Seminary in history, business administration as well as leadership studies. Although Francis works in finance, he also has been actively involved in mission across Asia for many years. He has served as International President of Asian Outreach before becoming the Chairman of the Board of Asia Church Missionary Society headquartered at Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, and in 2018, joined the Board of Directors at Asian Access based in California, U.S.

David D. Kim (Advisor, Faculty, former Board Member)

Founder at Telos VC – a Christ-centered venture capital fund

David D. Kim has a corporate finance and corporate law background and has been advising and investing in startups for over a decade. David’s experiences include Wall Street with Bank of America Merrill Lynch, corporate law with Hogan Lovells, co-founding Mulix and Total Ventures in Silicon Valley. David holds a Bachelors of Science in Economics from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and a Master of Laws from the Georgetown University Law Center.

David is forever indebted to Jesus and to the Western missionaries who followed the call to Korea in the 1880s. In keeping with his family legacy, David committed his life to business and missions at the Urbana Mission Conference. David serves faithfully at his church, Menlo Pres in Silicon Valley as a ruling elder, and is active in the world of global missions in partnership with various agencies. David is also a former member of the A2 board of directors, offering expertise and serving as a catalyst to help launch A2.business to empower marketplace leaders.
